As we have discussed, the harvest at the end of the age is the reaping of everything that has been sown in man. Both the good and the evil are now coming to full maturity. However, without spiritual discernment, evil will sometimes appear good, and good will sometimes appear to be evil. How can we distinguish them?

This week we continue our study with Ephesians 5:18:

In the last Prophetic Bulletin, I wrote about the coming "Winds of Change." I took this theme from the "four winds of the earth" prophesied in Revelation 7:1. In this Bulletin we will take this theme a bit further so we can better understand and be prepared for the four great storms that are now beginning to sweep across the earth as a result of the releasing of the "four winds of the earth."

As we continue our study of the Promised Land, we want to be more specific about what the promises of God are for us. Just what does a “land of milk and honey” mean for us as Christians? It is a place of prosperity and blessing, which is to be enjoyed with thanksgiving. However, if we have truly come to know the Lord, without question the greatest blessing of all is the Lord Himself. As Paul prayed for the believers in Colossians 2:2-3:
 

Last week we discussed how many Christians claim Proverbs 13:22, “...the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous,” while at the same time are very unrighteous in the way they handle what has already been entrusted to them.

Revelation is a “revealing.” We need revelation because we know that we cannot understand these things accurately unless the Lord reveals them to us. Understanding prophecy is not a matter of figuring out formulas and patterns. If the Holy Spirit does not give us the understanding, we will not get it.

Last week we discussed another foundational understanding of why many of the events at the end of this age will happen. Basically, they are the consequences of man trying to live without God. Some of these will be revealed by the political issues which revolve around Jerusalem that simply cannot be resolved by men. These will also severely injure those who arrogantly try to solve them.

A revolution is coming to Christianity that will eclipse the Reformation in the sweeping changes that it brings to the church. When it comes, the present structure and organization of the church will cease to exist, and the way that the world defines Christianity will be radically changed.

This week’s text, Ephesians 4:9-10, ties together even more firmly the message of the verses that we have studied the last two weeks.

When the elements of the health care bill became public knowledge, most thoughts about the economy and other great problems facing the country, took a back seat. This is understandable and I think commendable. We are now facing an issue far more important than just our money. For the citizens of the U.S., there are ultimate issues about not only our health, but our lives and our freedoms that are at stake in the health care bill, as well as other legislation being proposed. We are no doubt in a life or death struggle for the future of our country.
