We are entering the times that will be the most interesting and exciting that have ever been on the earth. To be chosen to live in these times is one of the greatest honors we could be given by God. We are already in the first stages of the greatest move of God ever on earth. I would not presume any kind of leadership, or even a position in what is about to unfold, but years ago I was given a torch that I wrote about in my book, The Torch and the Sword, and that torch has now been used to start a fire that will not go out.
The fire that has been started may yet be small, and you have to be in the right place, looking in the right direction to see it, but it has begun to burn. Over the coming years, we can expect revivals to break out in various places around the world. Miracles are going to be wrought that will make news around the world, and nations will be saved in a day. These are the times that the prophets and righteous of old desired to see, and we are here to experience them.
Just as the Scriptures also make clear about these times, it will be a time of great darkness as well. Even so, this will make the light that much more apparent. The angel of the Lord, who carries the sickle, is about to lower it to the earth so that it will be reaped. It is the time to lay aside every encumbrance and every distraction to get in our places in His body and be ready to do our part. This is the time we are told about in Hebrews 12:22-29:
But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,
to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,
and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.
See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth,
much less shall we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.
And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, " Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven. "
And this expression, "Yet once more," denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, in order that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;
for our God is a consuming fire.
