Prepared for the Times, Part 14
Last week we discussed the importance of having the integrity of quoting our sources, when possible and within reason. It is something we should care about in order to maintain the highest standards of integrity.

The following is an overview of the general direction I see beginning to unfold during the coming year.
The Joy Of The Lord
The next characteristic of love is that it “does not act unbecomingly” (see I Corinthians 13:5). That’s an interesting characteristic of love. We might also say that love is consistent, and the ones who love will have actions consistent with their beliefs. What would this look like?
The last two weeks we began addressing two of the three major fronts that the church must confront in the great issues of our times. The third is revolutionary and will begin a revolution. However, this revolution is not a rebellion against our earthly governments or any other earthly authority, but against “the prince of this world,” the devil. We must always keep in mind Ephesians 6:12:
Before the New Year’s message and in the last part of our study, we examined the ban that Achan violated which led to his and his family’s destruction. This may have seemed harsh, but it was intended to deal with the greed within the people that could have nullified the entire purpose of the nation and ultimately even destroyed them.
Last week we discussed how the Jordan River, which represents death, overflowed all of its banks all the days of the harvest. This was a prophetic sign that during the harvest (the end of the age), we can expect death to be overflowing all of its banks. However, when the Ark and the people of Israel entered into the Jordan, it says that its waters were rolled back all the way to Adam.
The next “work of the flesh” we will study from Galatians 5:20 is “envying.” This is similar to “jealousy” that we studied previously, but not quite the same. Jealousy is more directed at a person, while envy is directed more at possessions, positions, or what they have.
The first step in our race to go for the high calling of God in Christ is to believe in the Lord’s atoning sacrifice for our sins on the cross and to acknowledge Him as our Lord and Savior. When we see Jesus as the Christ sent from God, one of the greatest of all miracles takes place—we are born again.
Todd Bentley was used to spark the Lakeland Outpouring, which raised the faith level of much of the body of Christ. Testimonies of healings and miracles from it are now virtually all over the world. When Todd’s marriage failed, he abruptly stopped all ministry and virtually disappeared for almost nine months. In the meantime, his divorce was finalized and he has recently remarried.
