This year we have been studying Ephesians verse by verse because it is the epistle that reveals more than any other the heart of Paul’s revelation of the glorious calling of the church. This week we continue with Ephesians 3:20-21:

Nature is another media through which God speaks to us. “Nature is God’s second book”—this is basically what the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 1 and is also stated in Psalm 19. As we are told in Colossians 1, John 1, and other places, all things were made through Jesus and for Him, and they all speak of Him. I have come to believe that everything in nature speaks of Jesus, the only begotten Son and the love of the Father’s heart, in virtually unlimited depth.

As we continue our study of the definition and formation of the “Holy Nation,” the nation within the nations that God’s people are called to be, we have been addressing the economy of this nation.

Yesterday I was talking to Dr. R.T. Kendall, the author of a number of modern classics such as: God Meant It for Good, Believing God, and Total Forgiveness.

     One of the six basic doctrines of Christianity listed in Hebrews 6:1-2 is “eternal judgment.” One very revealing factor that was illuminated by the responses from our West Coast prophecies were the teachings and comments some made about God’s judgment. It is hard not to question if some of these Christians, especially those in ministry, had actually ever studied the Scriptures on this important subject.

The following are strategic revelations that were received by those whose prophetic gifts we have come to trust. Even so, they are shared with the understanding that the Lord is doing different things in different places, and we do not expect these words to apply to everyone. Also, as most of the interpretations and applications are given by me, they may not be the same as what would be given by the one receiving the revelation.--Rick Joyner

         This week we will complete our study of Pergamos that dwelt “where Satan’s throne is” and seemed to open the church to the biggest gates of hell. We study this to apply the lessons to our own lives and times. How has the church responded recently when they went from being persecuted to being respected? How would we personally respond if marginalized at work for being a Christian but then suddenly the head of the company gets converted and we are instantly promoted? We need to see these lessons on all levels.

This passage states that if we are seeking His kingdom we will not be anxious for tomorrow. If we are anxious it is because we have been distracted from seeking His kingdom.
